Junnikkala Oy is one of the most modern mechanical wood-processing facilities in the world. In near by half a century it has developed into an important further processor of wood in Northern Finland for the markets of Finland, Europe and Asia. Junnikkala Oy was founded in Kalajoki in 1960 and was previously known as Junnikkalan Saha Oy. Nearly 100 employees work at Junnikkala Oy with a turnover by about 50 million Euros. The work, carried out in the last 100 years, is being upgraded and expanded. This requires professional forest owners as sellers of raw material, expert and demanding customers and, above all, employees who are committed to their work and to the continual development of their skills. Juneropt Oy, a subsidiary of Junnikkala Oy, is a modern further processing plant co-operating in Kalajoki.

Junnikkala Oy's subsidiary Pyy sawmill and planing mill Oy is located in Oulainen. About 30 high qualified employees serve personally the demands of our customers on the spot. In the last years the company has invested a lot in modern machines and with the now used technique it is possible to react fast on the needs of customers and special requirements. The yearly production capacity is about 45 000 m3 sawn goods, which is equal splitted up on fir and pine. The aim is a continuous increase of the production capacity e.g. by pushing strongly the further processing production.
