Offer and deal:

The beginning of a timber transaction between a forest owner and Junnikkala Oy starts with the contacting of our procurement agent by the forest owner or his representative. Sometimes also Junnikkala Oy asks for a timber transaction.

After this the possible transaction contract for an identified stand will be written, if it was not done before. Supported by this contract the Junnikkala Oy's procurement agent gets in contact with the characterised stand and makes an offer depending on length and quality characteristics of this stand.
This offer is used as discussion basic through which the final individual contract will be done. Based on the forest certification requirements, the most important idea is logging by promoting sustainable development to protect the forests. Especially the protection of retention trees and other important objects and also the forest owner's demands are taken seriously and written down in the contract.

Logging:

The logging is done by companies which use modern technology by taking note of natural stand conditions and transportation aspects. At first saw timber, after this other wood products are logged in this stand to optimise and maximise the logging. It is the forest owner's or his representative's right to follow and control the contracted logging process whenever they want.

Report:

After the logging is successfully done, the forest owner or his representative will get a report which gives details of the logging by the procurement agent of Junnikkala Oy. The final step will be the signing of the report if both sides agree with it.
